In the Spring of 2025, we plan to open our new community garden at our Lafayette Street site. We have brand new raised garden beds for individuals and families to grow their own vegetables.

Many thanks to BOCES (Middle Settlement Road) for building the expertly crafted cedar garden beds and MVP Health Insurance for awarding us a grant to cover supplies and materials.

With the help of Cornell Cooperative Extension volunteers, our children have planted and harvested gardens in:

• the Utica Public Library

• Sculpture Space

• Our own Thea Bowman House playgrounds
